I just saw this, and while it was completely silly, excessive, and needlessly bloody, it was quite a damn entertaining and tense action-adventure thriller. So I'm glad you liked it too.

I'm seeing "Letters from Iwo Jima" today... don't know if you've seen it yet, but I'll let you know what I think.

Haven't seen Iwo Jima yet, haven't even seen Flags of Our Fathers yet actually. Interested to see Iwo Jima and glad to hear you liked it but feel a bit daunted about having to do the catch-up reading of Flags.
